Someone took one of my CD's out of my music case. It was my Cindy Lauper album, which really makes me mad, Dad gave it to me on my 12th birthday!

Well, I found out it was Billy who took my disc. He wanted to use CD's as signal mirrors to silently communicate with other campers when the soldiers are in the forest. I told him it was okay and to just take care of it. Really, I couldn't be truly mad, after all we don't even have batteries for the CD player!

We had to hide from the helicopters again today. The guys think we can dry our firewood in one of the spare tents so it will burn without smoking.

Joey thought he saw a dog following him on the old forest road yesterday. We didn't think much of it, but this morning we found that some of our food had been stolen by an animal. I wonder if it was that dog?

We found a way to make tea with pine needles. It does not taste the same but will make it easier to stay warm if we drink something hot this winter and it soothes a sore throat.
